World 10 Best WWE Wrestlers of All Time
With so many fantastic talents that have graced the promotion’s squared circle over the years, fans frequently wonder who the greatest WWE wrestlers of all time are. While many are notable, not all have stood the test of time and left an impression on the industry.
With that in mind, here are the top ten WWE wrestlers of all-time.
10. Kurt Angle
Kurt Angle brought his Olympic gold medal-winning talents to professional wrestling in the late 1990s, boosting the sport’s athleticism to new heights. However, he stunned his devoted following with his incredible charm and ability to be both menacing and ridiculous.
Angle could do everything better than any other performer. If he had started his career five years earlier, he could have rated higher on this list of the best WWE wrestlers of all time.
9. Shawn Michaels
Shawn Michaels is perhaps the best pound-for-pound wrestler in WWE history. Few have had as many classic battles and had a greater influence on many of the best performers competing now as “HBK.” A terrible back ailment cost him eight valuable years, but the second chapter of his career, albeit different, was equally significant.
8. Brock Lesnar
“The Beast.” Brock Lesnar’s nickname is one of the most memorable in WWE history because it perfectly reflects him. He is a genetic freak, possessing equal parts strength, speed, and anger. He is one of the few WWE performers to have had athletic success in “real” sports, and he was an even better performance in the latter half of his storied career.
Because of his talent, maturity, and background as a previous UFC champion, he became a key member of the team, and his reputation as a real-life wrecking machine of an athlete contributed to record profits. Now he acts as an attraction, helping to cultivate future moneymakers like Cody Rhodes.
7. John Cena
John Cena and wrestling great “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair have the most WWE titles under their belts. Cena’s popularity was polarizing during his peak (who could forget the “Let’s Go Cena/Cena Sucks” chants that dominated everytime he performed). However, since transitioning to part-time status, he has won the respect of the WWE universe and played an important role in assisting several other current stars on their route to becoming future finest WWE wrestlers of all time.
6. Triple H
Ric Flair will be remembered as one of the greatest villains in wrestling history. Triple H is known as the Flair of WWE history. Hunter Hearst Helmsley was the best performer at being bad. It should be mentioned, however, that he was a founding member of the renowned D-Generation X faction. He is recognized as one of WWE’s best wrestlers of all time, since his career influenced many of the company’s current top performers.
5. Hulk Hogan
Hulk Hogan quickly altered the WWE and introduced wrestling to widespread audiences after pinning the Iron Sheik at Madison Square Garden to win his first WWE title in 1984. He captured the attention of fans all around, particularly young viewers who believed in Hogan’s program of praying, eating vitamins, and exercising (a fourth one was added in 1990 during his feud with Earthquake, “believing in yourself”).
Hogan went on to win six WWE championships and still has a large fan base, brother!
4. The Rock
Rocky Maivia is now a well-known film star and producer, but fans recall him as an awkward newcomer to WWE in 1996. He worked hard to shape his character and make it his own, and he had immense success in the company, winning eleven WWE championships.
Having said that, he earned the respect of fans over the years with a renowned career that helped establish the industry, so it was no surprise when Hollywood eventually knocked on his door.
3. Roman Reigns
Will The Rock ever face Roman Reigns? Much like his cousin, Reigns was on shaky ground with fans after The Shield split up in 2014, as the WWE attempted to “push” the superstar into the spotlight. Nonetheless, numerous members of the WWE Universe were first dubious of the superstar, despite the fact that he has governed the WWE since SummerSlam 2020.
With a record-breaking 1,000-day reign and holding both the WWE and Universal Championships since WrestleMania 38, he has destroyed anybody who has tried to challenge him. What happens next for the Tribal Chief? Only time will tell.
2. Steve Austin (Stone Cold)
Steve Austin is widely regarded as one of the best wrestlers of all time, with his rise to stardom in the WWE in the mid-1990s comparable to Hulk Hogan’s. After all, the WWE endured a significant lull in the early 1990s before “Stone Cold.” The shattered glass in his introduction created a tremendous outcry on Monday Night RAW, live events, and pay-per-views (PPVs), and it still does today.
He made wrestling “cool” again, so it’s no surprise that Austin won six amazing WWE Championships. He is unquestionably a WWE superstar, having won the 1996 King of the Ring, three Men’s Royal Rumbles, the Triple Crown, and been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
1. The Undertaker
The Undertaker, often known as The Deadman or The Phenom, is in a league of his own. Perhaps it’s the decades-long unbeaten record at WrestleMania, or the fact that his persona developed and remained relevant to fans for years.
However, he is not just one of WWE’s greatest champions of all time, but also one of its most talented superstars. As a seven-time WWE Champion and Hall of Famer, his career is as well-known as the character he portrays in the arena.
