Tottenham has revealed that Destiny Udogie has inked a new, long-term deal with the Premier League team.
The Italian left-back, who has impressed greatly in the opening games of the current campaign, has pledged his all to Spurs through 2030.
The 21-year-old returned to Udinese on loan for the 2018–19 season after joining Tottenham in a £15 million transfer in 2022.
Having started 14 of the team’s 16 Premier League games for Tottenham this season, he has flourished under new boss Ange Postecoglou since moving back to London in the summer.
This autumn, he also made his debut for Italy. On Sunday, he scored his first goal for Spurs in a 4-1 victory over Newcastle.
According to Udogie, who spoke to the club’s website, “I’m happy because I think it’s a big joy to be here at this club, so I’m really happy for this opportunity and it’s a pleasure.”
