Trevor Lawrence of the Jaguars appeared to have hurt himself during the fourth quarter of Monday’s home game against the Bengals.
A lower-body injury seemed to be sustained by Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence during the game against the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday night. Lawrence was assisted off the field, and it doesn’t appear that he will be allowed to play again.

The Jaguars have announced Lawrence is questionable to return to the Bengals game, though, that sounds like leaning more on the optimistic side, considering how bad the injury looked when it happened. Lawrence was surveying the field in the pocket when offensive tackle Walker Little accidentally stepped on the signal-caller’s ankle, leaving the former No. 1 overall pick grimacing in pain.
Lawrence was able to complete 22 of 29 passes for 258 passing yards and two touchdowns with no interceptions before he departed the game. In addition, he gained eight yards on the ground on five carries for a touchdown in the rushing game.
The only other quarterback on the Jaguars’ active roster, C.J. Beathard, will have to start for the injured Trevor Lawrence, according to Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network.
